Our June 3rd meeting will feature a raffle sponsored by Billy D Plugs. Club member and past president Bill DeLizio, “Billy D,” has been an active CSA member going on 25 years. He wants to show his heartfelt appreciation to all CSA members that have given him the opportunity to surf cast with them and also the honor of being club President for 8 years. That includes all the newbies and seasoned veterans. Billy D’s early years fishing the Cuttyhunk Rod & Gun Club and the Rhode Island Surfcasters club challenge tournaments led to 3 club championships and several more runner-up positions. He believes it is time to give back to CSA for 25 great years.

This month's raffle will have exclusively 15 Billy D custom lures; no single rod cow prize, no schoolie items - just 15 precision made Billy D custom lures. Included will be top water metal lips, assorted needlefish, mid-diving metal lips and his exclusive Level Glyde Needlefish©. Each plug is bench tested, saltwater tested, precision tuned. This raffle assortment each typically retails for $35 to $50 depending on style.

In order to allow all members a fair chance at winning there will be a 2 plug limit per member regardless of how many tickets purchased or drawn out of the hat. Tickets are priced the same as our regular monthly cow prize - 1 for $5, 3 for $10, 7 for $20. A bonus $50 purchase will get you 20 tickets!
